A set of 3 traditional Avon style fishing floats.

Description

These floats are made from Balsa bodies painted a silver/green & Cane stems with red over yellow painted tips. Next, they are dressed and lined using Vintage yellow & black Gudebrod silk Jasper thread and black and claret silk thread. Finally, they all have a minimum of 10 coats of lacquer.

The lengths are between 16 & 19 cm (5 ½ – 7 ¼ “)

With all handmade floats the cocking weight might very a little, these are 6,8 & 9 “AAA”+, a weight that makes them sit up well.

My floats are signed or initialled and dated. If you order a bespoke set, then at time of ordering I can add the buyer’s name to the floats.

I would recommend the use of a soft float rubber band, to help protect your float.
