A pair of traditional style carbon stem drift beater floats.

Description
These floats are made from a balsa body, carbon and Sarkanda reed antenna and painted sight bob with a cane eyed stem. I have stained the bottom half of the bodies rosewood and painted the top emerald green with the tips painted red over yellow silk thread. Next, they are dressed and lined using white/black jasper (vintage Gudebrod), white, yellow and black silk thread.
Finally, they all have a minimum of 10 coats of lacquer.
Their lengths are 23.3 & 30 cm long
With all handmade floats the cocking weight might very a little, these take 4.2 & 2.7g+, a weight that makes the float sit up well.
My floats are signed or initialled and dated. If you order a bespoke set, then at time of ordering I can add the buyer’s name to the floats.
I would recommend the use of a soft float rubber band, to help protect your float.
