Description

These floats are made from a Balsa body and cane stem, first they are stained, sanded and sealed next the tips are painted fluorescent red over white. Next I have dressed and lined using blue/white vintage variegated, yellow, white and black silk thread. Finally, they all have a minimum of 10 coats of lacquer.

Their lengths are 10.5,12.2, 13.3  & 13.3 cm

With all handmade floats the cocking weight may vary a little, these are 2, 3, 4 & 6 gm +a weight that makes the float sit up well.

My floats are signed or initialled and dated. If you order a bespoke set, then at time of ordering I can add the buyer’s name to the floats.

For bespoke orders, delivery may take up to 20 days. (Normally 10 to14 days)

I would recommend the use of a soft float rubber band, to help protect your float.
