A presentation box set of 3 vintage style tradition Avon (Topper) fishing floats.

Description

These floats are made from balsa-stained body’s & Crow quills, the tips are painted Red over yellow. Next, they are dressed and lined with Blue, claret red, yellow and black silk whipping thread. Finally, they all have a minimum of ten coats of lacquer.

The length is between 16 & 19 cm (5 ½ – 7 ¼ “)

With all handmade floats the cocking weight might very a little, these are 4,5 &6 BB”, a weight that makes them sit up well. well.

My floats are signed or initialled and dated. If you order a bespoke set, then at time of ordering I can add the buyer’s name.
