Description
These floats are made using cork for the body’s & crow quill for the tips with cane stems. I have painted the tips red, orange & yellow all over white with the stems painted forest green. Next, I have dressed and lined them with orange and black silk thread. Finally, each have a minimum of 10 coats of lacquer.
Their lengths are between 12.5 & 16.2 cm
With all handmade floats the cocking weight might very a little, these take 3 to 5 AAA+, a weight that makes the float sit up well.
My floats are signed or initialled and dated. If you order a bespoke set, then at time of ordering I can add the buyer’s name to the floats.
I would recommend the use of a soft float rubber band, to help protect your float.
