Description
These floats are made from porcupine quills, the tips painted fluorescent red, pink, orange and blue over yellow and white. Next, I have dressed and lined them with silk, metallic and copper thread, finally they have a minimum of 10 coats of lacquer.
Their lengths are between13.5 & 16 cm (5 ¼ – 6 ¼ “)
With all handmade floats the cocking weight might very a little, but I will add a weight that makes the float sit up well.
My floats are signed or initialled and dated. If you order a bespoke set, then at time of ordering I can add the buyer’s name to the floats.
I would recommend the use of a soft float rubber band, to help protect your float.
