A pair of traditional style crow quill bodied antenna float.

Description

These floats are made from a stained balsa body, a painted crow Quill tip with a wiped cane stem. The tips are painted orange over white-yellow-white-yellow-white, Next, they are dressed and lined using black & lilac silk thread. Finally, they all have a minimum of 10 coats of lacquer.

The lengths are 21.7 & 21.2 cm

With all handmade floats the cocking weight might very a little, these take 1.6 & 2gm+, a weight that makes the float sit up well.

My floats are signed or initialled and dated. If you order a bespoke set, then at time of ordering I can add the buyer’s name to the floats.

I would recommend the use of a soft float rubber band, to help protect your float.
